YouthNoise, an active collection of students, is looking for writers to contribute to their cause. Their formal letter to BCR follows:
To All Concerned, As another exciting and energetic election nears, YouthNoise would like to invite your organization and writers to help make it come alive for today’s youth. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, YouthNoise works hard to bring the issues to the youth, by the youth, as well as to get them involved within civic engagement and social consciousness. During this dynamic campaign season, we are in the midst of an action-oriented web campaign to spark interest, discussion, and debate amongst young people about the issues—both on and off the ballots—that affect them. We would delight in your participation, whether your writers would be interested in submitting opinion pieces, unbiased reporting of issues, or even coverage of the gripping races sure to ensue this fall. Can we count you in for this compelling campaign? Attached is the project information that we have posted on our site’s discussion board. We sincerely hope that you will join us in giving youth a voice in today’s issues.
